Namun, pembahasan seputar Makassar terkadang melupakan ihwal dasar maritimnya, tenggelam dalam narasi pembangunan berbasis daratan yang terus bergerak ke laut.<\/p><p>Semangat pembangunan seringkali melupakan suara penduduk pulau dan nasib ekosistem laut yang terancam. Padahal, Makassar sebagai kota yang berdampingan dengan laut, seharusnya tumbuh \u2018menghadap\u2019 ke laut, bukan malah \u2018memunggungi\u2019 laut.<\/p><p>Buku ini merupakan hasil program literasi maritim yang dikerjakan bersama oleh anak muda dalam membaca Makaassar.
